The Putney Co-op grocery department offers a wide variety of items with a great mix of conventional and organic products. We get local, artisan bread deliveries, Monday through Saturday, and fresh local eggs weekly.
In our freezer section you can find fruits and vegetables, ice cream (including local and organic creameries and of course Ben & Jerry’s!), pasta, entrees and pizza. We are also happy to carry fish and shellfish from Port Clyde Fresh Catch, a fishermen’s co-op in Maine!
We also carry a large selection of chips, cookies, crackers, and healthy snack alternatives. In addition we also have a well stocked baking and housewares and international food section. For your favorite furry friend, we stock many brands of pet food such as Wysong, Newman’s Own Organic, Petguard and Friskies.
We offer an abundance of natural, organic and locally produced foods in addition to the traditional brands you grew up with, so you can explore new and healthy options while still embracing your favorites.
